2022 Boston Marathon

The Matt Brown Foundation will have two bibs in the 2022 Boston Marathon this April!

THE TEAM:

The Boston Marathon is back to its traditional April race date and the Matt Brown Foundation couldn’t be more excited. This year, the foundation has another two bibs that will take on the 26.2 miles. Matt and his running partner, Lucas Carr, will be running their 11th marathon together. And joining them this year with the other bib is Jessica Rooney.

Matt and Lucas met Jessica when they ran their first New York City Marathon. The trio was part of the Leary Firefighter Fund and formed a friendship almost immediately. This year’s Boston Marathon will be Jessica’s seventh marathon. It’s crunch time and the runners are in their final leg of their training. This winter has not been easy to train in but the hard work is going to make running down Boylston that much sweeter.
