MBF 5K: Run, Walk, and Roll

It was with great excitement that we hosted our first annual 5K on Sunday, June 7th! This Run, Walk, and Roll event took place at Norwood High School in Norwood, MA.

The course took participants on a scenic route through the surrounding neighborhoods before returning to the high school for an exciting finish. Featuring a few hills to keep things interesting, the course offered just the right amount of challenge while remaining enjoyable for participants of all levels. Whether participants were chasing a personal best or simply coming out to support our mission, the event delivered a fun, community-driven atmosphere from start to finish.

We were thrilled to see so many people at the starting line as we kicked off this new tradition together. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported the event. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and making next year’s 5K even bigger and better!

Our inaugural 5K was created to bring the community together in support of a mission that means so much to us. This event is more than just a race, as it’s an opportunity to raise awareness, celebrate resilience, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
